Westside Poetry
For as long as I can remember, the corner store has been the most consistent resource in the Black community. It's where Granny sent you to get her smokes and favorite beverage, where you met your friends before and after school, and sometimes the closest place to buy groceries. "Westside Poetry" production takes us to a corner store called "Ova West Convenience."
Featuring poets Nia June, Kondwani Fidel, Gayle Danley, Kenneth Something, Lady Brion and comedians Khairy Creek and BruceDaddy.
