Westside Poetry
For as long as I can remember, the corner store has been the most consistent resource in the Black community. It's where Granny sent you to get her smokes and favorite beverage, where you met your friends before and after school, and sometimes the closest place to buy groceries. "Westside Poetry" production takes us to a corner store called "Ova West Convenience."
Featuring poets Nia June, Kondwani Fidel, Gayle Danley, Kenneth Something, Lady Brion and comedians Khairy Creek and BruceDaddy. Live from Motor House, shopping from locally made goods from Baltimore artisans and more will be available. Market starts at 5pm Theater opens at 6:30pm show starts 7:00pm
